These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dwnlink website and subscription service (the "Service") operated by Dwnlink ("we", "us", "our"). By subscribing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service
Dwnlink is a subscription service that delivers curated satellite imagery postcards to your mailing address. Subscribers receive approximately one postcard per month (12 per year) featuring space and Earth observation imagery.
The specific images, content, and delivery schedule are at our discretion and may vary. We reserve the right to substitute imagery or adjust timing as needed.
2. Subscriptions and billing
Subscription term
Subscriptions are billed annually in advance. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each year unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Payment
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fee and any renewals.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to receive postcards until your paid period ends.
Refunds
Because postcards are physical goods that are printed and mailed on a rolling basis, we generally do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods. If you believe you're entitled to a refund due to exceptional circumstances, please contact us and we'll review your request.
3. Shipping and delivery
Address accuracy
You are responsible for providing and maintaining an accurate mailing address. We are not responsible for postcards lost or delayed due to incorrect address information.
Delivery
Postcards are sent via USPS First Class mail. Delivery times vary and are estimates only. We do not guarantee specific delivery dates. International delivery (outside the US and Canada) is not currently available.
Lost or damaged postcards
If a postcard is lost in the mail or arrives damaged, please contact us within 30 days of the expected delivery date. At our discretion, we may send a replacement or provide a credit toward your subscription. We are not obligated to replace postcards lost due to address errors, mail theft, or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Intellectual property
Satellite imagery featured on postcards is sourced from public domain sources (such as NASA, ESA, and NOAA) or used under license. The postcards are provided for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
The Dwnlink name, logo, website design, and original content are our property and may not be used without permission.
5. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free postcards, or specific delivery dates.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Postcards are printed and shipped by third-party providers. While we work with reputable partners, we cannot guarantee print quality or mail delivery and are not liable for errors or delays caused by these providers.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Provide false information (including fake addresses)
- Resell or commercially redistribute postcards received through the Service
- Attempt to interfere with the operation of our website or systems
7. Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. In such cases, you may not be entitled to a refund.
8. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service (including pricing for future subscription periods) or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If a dispute arises, you agree to first contact us at missioncontrol@dwnlink.com to attempt informal resolution before pursuing formal legal action.
